Probably due to lack of that define in dietlibc headers, according to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=885961 . The short term resulotion would be to require 4.9 headers when compiling, but I am not sure what the longer term resolution might look like and who's bug it really is.
