Gentoo has a separate package for linux-headers, and this one is not "connected" to the actual running kernel, so it will get updated by default as soon as it is released as "stable". On my systems, linux-headers 4.14 was installed. When I downgraded the headers to 4.9 (same as kernel), util-vserver compiles on both gcc6.4 and 7.3. 1548173335 M * torrunes However, maybe an update to util-vserver might be appropritate still, as it is the only of the 1400-ish packages that do not compile with "default" linux-headers? 1548173349 M * torrunes Anyway, thanks! :) 1548173826 Q * romster Ping timeout: 480 seconds 1548175388 M * Bertl_oO you're welcome! 1548175443 M * Bertl_oO regarding util-vserver update, it might still be a problem with the headers, not many packages will use this specific include and maybe it just needs a different header included as well 1548176178 Q * hijacker 1548176876 M * AlexanderS torrunes: The line was introduced in 4.14: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/ddef7ed2b5cbafae692d1d580bb5a07808926a9c#diff-a624779931923a8b71c8b713d6aca749 1548177170 M * AlexanderS It should be defined in uapi/linux/types.h, that should be included via the in lib_internal/util-cleanupmount.c (at least if configure finds that include). 1548181311 M * Guy- Ghislain: I was able to compile util-vserver on debian sid a few weeks ago, fwiw 1548184347 J * romster ~romster@158.140.215.184 1548185688 Q * romster Ping timeout: 480 seconds 1548187188 J * romster ~romster@158.140.215.184 1548187612 J * fstd ~fstd@xdsl-85-197-62-45.nc.de 1548187908 Q * romster Ping timeout: 480 seconds 1548188059 Q * fstd_ Ping timeout: 480 seconds 1548189321 J * romster ~romster@158.140.215.184 1548190309 J * Aiken ~Aiken@b951.h.jbmb.net
