I have a Vserver host with 2 physical NIC's one of them is in the company DMZ (eth1) the other one is on the normal work network (eth0). Most guests on the host use eth0, but I't like one to be used as DMZ server, thus only knowing about eth1. Unfortunately when I create a guest and setup it's interface to use eth1 I inherrit the host's routing table and access to the normal work network. What can I do about this? is 1264628734 M * jakob there a way to setup routing specifically for a guest? 1264628779 M * Bertl you can simply use multiple routing tables to do that 1264628816 M * Bertl http://linux-vserver.org/Limit_Networking_on_Multihomed_hosts 1264628818 M * jakob never heard of that before 1264628829 M * jakob thanks :-) 1264628835 M * jakob I'll read that 1264628838 M * Bertl it's a basic Linux feature for some years now 1264628893 M * jakob well I guess that's kind of embarresing to ask then ;-) 1264628897 M * jakob thanks anyway 1264628912 M * Bertl you're welcome! and no problem, see topic :) 1264628943 M * jakob :-) 1264629259 Q * jakob Remote host closed the connection 1264629767 J * jrklein ~jrklein@2001:0:53aa:64c:0:6ca:63e5:f791 1264629888 J * hparker ~hparker@linux.homershut.net 1264630585 Q * jrklein Remote host closed the connection 1264630699 J * jrklein ~jrklein@2001:0:53aa:64c:0:6ca:63e5:f791 1264630739 J * ghislain ~AQUEOS@adsl2.aqueos.com 1264631533 J * dna ~dna@170-198-103-86.dynamic.dsl.tng.de 1264632082 M * fzylogic Bertl: looks like the patch is working perfectly 1264632105 M * fzylogic even swap limits appear to be reflect correctly 1264632110 M * Bertl good, then I'll incorporate it in the next version (including some cleanups) 1264632116 M * Bertl thanks a bunch for testing! 1264632122 M * fzylogic thanks for the patch! 1264632133 M * fzylogic now time for a bunch of reboots :) 1264632137 M * Bertl my pleasure :) 1264632746 J * aj__ ~aj@e180193186.adsl.alicedsl.de 1264633190 Q * ktwilight__ Remote host closed the connection 1264633231 J * ktwilight__ ~keliew@123.55-240-81.adsl-dyn.isp.belgacom.be 1264633446 Q * aj__ Remote host closed the connection 1264633649 Q * FireEgl Quit: Leaving... 1264633782 M * Bertl off to bed now ... have a good one everyone! 1264633786 N * Bertl Bertl_zZ 1264633787 J * derjohn_mob ~aj@e180193186.adsl.alicedsl.de 1264633793 M * fzylogic g'night! 1264633874 Q * SubZero 1264633989 Q * FloodServ Service unloaded 1264634069 J * FloodServ services@services.oftc.net 1264634348 Q * niki Ping timeout: 480 seconds 1264634351 J * SubZero ~SubZero@chello089076140236.chello.pl 1264634354 Q * jrklein Quit: jrklein 1264634894 J * niki ~niki@0x5553169c.adsl.cybercity.dk 1264635051 J * FireEgl FireEgl@173-16-9-10.client.mchsi.com 1264635635 Q * imcsk8 Quit: Leaving 1264635672 Q * dna Quit: Verlassend
